A dynamic reinterpretation of my personal logo, brought to life with a retro '80s aesthetic. The animation features CRT-inspired textures, nostalgic synth tones, and stylized motion to capture the energy and character of the era while maintaining a clean, modern feel.
Here’s a look at how the animation was structured in After Effects. I pre-comped the main logo components and layered them with a combination of built-in effects and third-party plug-ins to add depth, texture, and light. This workflow allowed for precise control over each visual element while keeping the composition organized, flexible, and easy to update.
The logo itself is designed to represent motion — whether static or animated, it conveys energy and forward movement. The color variations use a consistent palette of lime green, red, and light blue, with subtle tonal adjustments to adapt to different backgrounds and contexts. This flexibility ensures the logo maintains its visual impact across various applications.
